Illustration Friday: Oi! #2 - Haunt

 Took this picture in the nick of time right before Sweetie #2 trampled over it. 

No damage done though :) 

I realize it's been about a month since I did anything for Illustration Friday. So, for this week's topic I am submitting a painting from my new series called "Oi!" It's a dull day at the local haunt and the guy decided they could all use a wake up call or err.. yell.

Taraxacum Officinale

Sweetie #1 took these pictures of the Taraxacum Officinale or more commonly known as the Dandelion on her trip to Russia with my mom. Lovely!

I've been having some fun with my new Daler Rowney Watercolour Pocket Set. It's been stuck on my wish list for quite a while because it costs a bomb. Due to some recent good luck I finally managed to get it. It was a happy, happy day :)

Wild flowers

These are my favourite wild flowers.  We were on our way home from celebrating my brother's birthday and happened to have Sweetie #1's camera with us when I came across them today. It's amazing how you can find something so pretty right by a garbage strewn roadside.

It's no wonder why Sweetie #1 likes this one. There is not a single house in sight!

I got stuck doing this one. For a while I didn't quite like the colours and had to put it away for a few days. When I went back to it I decided to get rid of the small population of people and cars and add in these three giants instead. I like it better now :)
